The Mountain View Hotel is a boutique gastro-pub situated in Whitfield - the heart of North East Victoria’s King Valley wine region. Set amongst beautiful established gardens, and surrounded by Jessie’s Creek, the Mountain View offers a unique experience through the warm professionalism of its staff and its modern, European influenced menu.

The Hotel was refurbished and reopened in September 2010 by Carlo & Sal Pizzini. Together with their dedicated team, they are committed to showcasing the best of what the King Valley has to offer through providing fantastic food, warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere.

Head Chef Bryan Alley has scarcely left the kitchen since the Hotel’s inception and his love of the local produce, combined with his commitment to creating quality food are part of what makes a visit with us such a wonderful experience. Bryan’s food philosophy is simple, if it can be locally sourced, is of high quality and of course, in season, it will be on the menu.
